manager of consumer programs & digital marketing

The Ohio Beef Council (OBC), the state’s checkoff-funded promotion program for beef and veal working on behalf of Ohio cattle farmers, is seeking a dynamic and energetic communicator to lead the council’s consumer marketing. The position includes oversight and implementation of digital, social media and visual content planning; engaging with media, industry and consumer food influencers; guiding advertising, retail, foodservice and nutrition programs; management of outside partners and interns; and coordination of events and consumer displays.   

Our ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree and have a minimum 1-year experience in a same or similar role. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Rush, etc.) is preferred. Our most successful team members are highly organized, show great attention to detail, and demonstrate high levels of skill with office software and technology.     

This position is regular, full time, and available as a remote/hybrid role from anywhere in the state of Ohio.  OBC offers a full suite of benefits to employees including health insurance (medical/dental/vision), life insurance, 401k, and paid time off.

The Ohio Cattlemen’s Association (OCA), the state’s advocacy organization working on behalf of Ohio cattle farmers, is seeking a dynamic and energetic communicator to lead the association’s membership marketing and revenue development programs. The position includes oversight and implementation of digital, social media and visual content marketing programs, engaging with industry partners and cattle farmers. Responsibilities include execution of OCA’s membership marketing programs, member services, including planning educational programs, and association sponsorship and advertising sales.
