Ohio is structured as a two-hat state, meaning our staff work for both the Ohio Beef Council and the Ohio Cattlemen's Association. This efficient structure allows for the most effective use of resources. Each staff person keeps detailed time sheets and their time is billed to the appropriate entity on a monthly basis. Some staff members' time is spent working more for the OBC than others.
As Executive Director, Elizabeth directs and coordinates all activities of the Ohio Beef Council and the Ohio Cattlemen’s Association. She is responsible for compliance with the beef checkoff Act & Order and for all OBC/OCA financial statements. Finally, she supervises all OBC/OCA staff.
