Kundrat, a registered dietitian, educator, and clinical professor emerita with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee College of Public Health, will present four workshops that provide practical, science-based advice for living a healthier and more active life. These engaging sessions are designed to help participants incorporate simple steps to improve their daily nutrition, fitness, and overall well-being.
The workshops centered around Kundrat’s ground-breaking 2211 plan, which offers actionable strategies for maximizing health span and boosting daily well-being. Her book, Eat Move Groove, breaks down complex wellness concepts into easy-to-follow guidelines, encouraging a holistic approach to wellness that is both accessible and sustainable. “We were excited to partner with Susie Kundrat to offer these valuable workshops to the Kettering community,” said Anna Gest, MS, RDN, LD, Manager of Nutrition Education Programs of the Ohio Beef Council. “Her expertise and simple, positive approach to health inspired attendees to take charge of their well-being and adopt healthy habits for life.” Held at The Ascension Church Witzman Center in Kettering, Ohio, participants left with practical tools and knowledge they can implement immediately to boost their health and wellness.
About The Ohio Beef Council
The Ohio Beef Council (OBC) was established in 1970 and engages with Ohio’s producers and consumers to strengthen the demand for beef with the goal of maintaining the profitability and growth of Ohio’s beef industry. OBC is part of a coordinated state/national marketing effort funded by beef producers through the beef checkoff program. These connections take place through programs that explore beef from pasture to plate and strengthen relationships and understanding among stakeholders.
