A multi-generational Ohio cattle operation in Jeromesville raising Angus cattle with a focus on quality, responsibility, and carrying forward a family farming legacy.
The Atterholt family is a multi-generational Ohio beef operation based in Jeromesville, where brothers Mike and Aaron continue a family legacy that began with their grandfather’s small herd of cattle and grew into a hands-on Angus cattle operation rooted in hard work, responsibility, and family values.
Raised on memories of open pastures and early 4-H projects, the brothers have built a life around caring for cattle and raising the next generation on the same land they grew up on. Today, Aaron manages the farm full time while Mike balances work in town with evenings and weekends spent working cattle alongside his wife, Amanda, and their children.
Together, they focus on raising Angus cattle with an emphasis on quality, consistency, and responsible animal care—making decisions with both the cattle and the end consumer in mind. For the Atterholts, farming is more than a livelihood; it’s a way to build character, teach responsibility, and keep family traditions alive in the heart of rural Ohio.
Cows are bred and calves are born and raised every year on cow-calf farms and ranches, spending time grazing on grass pastures within sight of their mothers.
